Held from 11 to 14 May 2010, the action “Let's Do it: Let's recycle”, the third and final action of the initiative “Let's Do it!” that aims to change the attitude of the citizens about the environment and especially the understanding that finding an effective solution on the climate change problem depends on the daily habits of each and every one of us.
In the first part of the action (11-12 May 2010), students from Primary schools of Komotini, met in the park of Agia Paraskevi and attended the recycling process of paper and create with the help of 22 volunteers of the EDIC of Komotini original small manufactures (toys, ornaments, decorations etc.) from recycled paper and apparently “useless” materials. The second part (13-14 May 2010) included an exhibition of these imaginative structures in the same place which they visited several children and citizens.
